Mineral County Days provides opportunities to advance projects benefiting the citizens of Mineral County, West Virginia.
Over the course of 2 days, organized meetings with key government and elected officials in Charleston serve as a platform to discuss the needs of Mineral County. Critical transportation, water and sewer and educational programs have been advanced through the forum of Mineral County Days. Mineral County was the first of West Virginia’s 55 counties to organize an annual pilgrimage to the State Capitol and, based on its success, other counties in West Virginia have attempted to sponsor similar programs.
Since 2006, TGCC has participated in Mineral County Days and has contributed significantly, especially in the area of transportation projects, which are regional in design. We look forward to being a continued partner in and advocate of Mineral County Days.
