Elizabeth Stahlman

Elizabeth Stahlman is the City Administrator for the City of Frostburg. She leads a staff of 50 people and manages the city’s operations with an annual budget of over $10 million. Prior to her appointment to the role of City Administrator in June 2019, she served as the city’s Director of Community Development for 7 years. She credits much of her success in accomplishing projects and initiatives to great teamwork within City Hall and strong partnerships with the community and outside agencies. Elizabeth started her career with Allegany County Government and served as the GIS Manager for 5 years.

Elizabeth received her MBA from Frostburg State University in 2013 and her bachelor’s degree in 2006. She was the recipient of the Western Maryland Jaycees Outstanding Young Professional Award in 2017 and named as one of the Daily Record's Leading Women in 2019. She currently serves on the Frostburg State University College of Business Advisory Board and the Mountain Maryland Trails board.
