Sandy Sponaugle

Sandy Dubay Sponaugle is the CEO and Founder of Platinum PR, a marketing and public relations firm supporting economic development and tourism organizations, higher education, various private sector industries, and non-profit organizations since 2002. Together with her team, Sandy has invigorated the identities of small businesses, associations, and educational institutions across the United States. With a passion for helping communities prosper, Sandy shares her expertise in communications, social media, marketing, economic development and tourism widely via coaching, consulting, teaching courses, writing articles, and 
speaking on the stage. She is an active member of the Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA), the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), Leadership Maryland and her local Rotary Club. She has received rewards such as the WV Executive Young Guns Award and PR Professional of the Year by The American Advertising Federation – Greater Frederick.
